Tahini is one of the healthiest foods that I know. AND it’s delicious! It is the ultimate vegan sauce for salads, but I add it to almost everything I eat. Give me good tahini sauce – and you made my day!
What you need:
2 cups raw Tahini (The whole tahini is better!)
1/2 garlic clove (you can have more if you really like garlic!)
1/2 cup fresh lemon juice
Pinch of salt
1-2 cups of filtered water (depends on the desired consistency)
Optional for garnish: couple of chick peas (from a can or cooked)
What to do:
Add everything but the water to a blender, or blend manually, and add the water gradually until you get a creamy look’n'feel. The more water you add, the less thick it will become.
If you like it green, you can add fresh chopped parsley leaves.
Add the chick peas on top.
Once you are done, let everyone around you taste it! It’s awesome! Add it to anything you like, or eat by itself.
