Tahini is one of the healthiest foods that I know. AND it’s delicious! It is the ultimate vegan sauce for salads, but I add it to almost everything I eat. Give me good tahini sauce – and you made my day!

What you need:

  • 2 cups raw Tahini (The whole tahini is better!)

  • 1/2 garlic clove (you can have more if you really like garlic!)

  • 1/2 cup fresh lemon juice

  • Pinch of salt

  • 1-2 cups of filtered water (depends on the desired consistency)

  • Optional for garnish: couple of chick peas (from a can or cooked)

What to do:

  • Add everything but the water to a blender, or blend manually, and add the water gradually until you get a creamy look’n'feel. The more water you add, the less thick it will become.

  • If you like it green, you can add fresh chopped parsley leaves.

  • Add the chick peas on top. 

  • Once you are done, let everyone around you taste it! It’s awesome! Add it to anything you like, or eat by itself.
